2023 COMPLETION OVERVIEW

For the 2023 All High School Design Competition (ADC), we would like for our student designers to create products and services that are rooted in the true purpose of “Experiencing Design.” Experience that creates cures for diseases. Experience that builds community centers for youth to play safely. Experience that created the airbag. Experience that created the rocking cradle. The Experience that drives innovation and makes the world a better place to work and live for everyone. This year 10 lucky designers will be acknowledged for their work and given some really cool prizes at “Osmosis Design Awards.”

We would like to invite all high school students to show off their designs at Project Osmosis’ “All High School Design Competition” for an opportunity to win exciting prizes.

THE PROJECT: EXPLORE DESIGN

Good Design can influence human experiences. When we assess the wider influence of design, itʼs crucial to acknowledge that design isnʼt solely about functionality or purpose; it is something deeper. It is about the emotions connected to the design piece. Humans donʼt just seek efficient products or ideas; they desire to experience positive emotions while using or interacting with them. Design can influence and change minds, thus changing the world.

“EXPERIENCE DESIGN” DESIGN BRIEF

Your design must include a typed or neatly written design brief (description) up to 500 words that explains how your design relates to “Experience Design”. Pieces submitted without a design brief or correct size will be disqualified.

2. Design something with your exceptional talent, and save it as a PDF or PNG

Project Osmosis’ “All High School Design Competition” highlights the brilliant designs of young students in Chicagoland schools and allows them to flesh out designs that could have otherwise could have been left as just thought.

Our theme for 2023 is “Experience Design.” Good Design can influence human experiences.
